City Council to receive £330,000 from the government.
Brighton and Hove will receive a share of the government’s £23.5 million of funding to deliver 500 new Changing Places toilets - making public spaces accessible to everyone as we build back fairer.
Public spaces, such as libraries, cinemas, and museums are much valued community resources - so it is only right that everyone is able to access them.
From the Changing Places Fund - local authorities will receive £23.5 million to boost the provision of Changing Places toilets in existing buildings, which are larger and more accessible toilets for those who cannot use standard facilities.
This investment will make public amenities such as libraries, cinemas, and museums accessible to everyone in society, as we build back fairer.
