We are delighted to confirm that Tim Hodges has been selected as our candidate for Hangleton & Knoll for the 2023 local elections.
Residents may already be familiar with Tim as he lived in Poynings Drive from birth until the mid 1990’s and then came back to the area between 2000-2002. Tim’s parents and grandparents lived in Stapley Road from the 1950s through to the 1970s; his late mother continued to live in Poynings Drive until 2018 making her one of Hangleton and Knoll’s longest serving residents!
Tim attended the local Primary School and later went on to Hove Park School. As you can imagine Tim has excellent knowledge of the local community and has an invested interest which is why he wants to represent the residents of Hangleton and Knoll as a councillor.
Currently Tim is a governor at West Blatchington Infant and Primary School [which he attended himself as a boy] and even oversees the Hangleton Modernus Historia Facebook page!
Councillor Dawn Barnett:
"We are really pleased to welcome Tim to our friendly team, Tim is a family man with two children (aged 12 and 14) and I hope they will be around to help dad deliver leaflets and newsletters! Both Nick and I look forward to working with Tim in the build up to next year’s election."
We are sure that you too will agree that Tim will be a valued member and contributor of the team with Dawn Barnett and Nick Lewry and we wish him the very best of luck in 2023!
